The theater of the Arab Cultural Center in Aziziyah hosted a poetry evening entitled “Whisper of Letters” organized by the Aleppo Culture Directorate, with the participation of the “One Hundred Writers” team from Aleppo, which included a group of prose texts and lyrical, sentimental and humanitarian poems.
The texts embodied many artistic, aesthetic and expressive images, meanings and human and societal values, through which the participants expressed their feelings and ideas in different literary methods.
The evening began with a prose text by the young woman, Zahraa Hanoun, through which she sent a message to society about the importance of the active role of women, indicating the need for women to adhere to their dreams and aspirations and work to achieve them, defying all circumstances.
The young woman, Alaa Dabbagh, presented a prose text embodying the suffering of depressed patients, attempting to include the symptoms of the disease in a literary way, with an indication of how to deal with it.
The young woman, Alaa Maarouf, recited a lyrical poem of spoken poetry that carries many emotional, social and human images with unique aesthetic values.
The director of the Arab Cultural Center in Al-Aziziyah, Jihad Al-Ghanima, said in a statement to SANA reporter that this evening comes within the activities of the Ministry of Culture and its interest in youth, indicating that it includes many promising young creations, and it is necessary to allow them to express themselves and their thoughts because young people are the mainstay of the future and the first building block. For cultural building and the advancement of the country.
Ahmed Bashmaf, leader of the One Hundred Writers Team from Aleppo, indicated that the team seeks to permanently attract young talents, hone their skills and support them in the field of literature to prove their capabilities and competencies to support the cultural movement.
Also participating in the evening were Mohieddin Hamza Qurabi, Fatima Hamal, Khadija Al-Kubra Katerji, Taqi Al-Sayed, Ali Al-Faraj, Judy Al-Najjar and Alaa Maarouf.
