Car accident in Kowloon Bay.

At about 0:00 in the morning today (16th), a Tesla private car was driving along the Kai Tak Tunnel towards Kwun Tong.

Just as he exited the tunnel to Kai Fook Road, he suddenly jolted an arrow car in front of him.

After the accident, the Tesla was destroyed like scrap metal. The male driver surnamed Wei (46 years old) was injured and trapped in the car. The fire department dispatched a collapsed search and rescue team, and it took about half an hour to rescue him. Fortunately, he was still awake and was sent by ambulance. Three other workers (aged 36 to 48) were working near the arrow car and were all sent to the hospital with minor injuries.

According to the source, there were two lanes of traffic at the scene. The tunnel was under construction at the time, and the arrow car was parked on the right lane, which was also closed at the time.

The police are investigating the cause of the accident, but after a breathalyzer test for the driver surnamed Wei, it was confirmed that he exceeded the limit, and he was arrested on suspicion of "drinking and driving".
