Dozens of Palestinians participated in a vigil today in the besieged Gaza Strip in support of the prisoners in the Israeli occupation prisons, especially the cancer-stricken prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid.
Wafa Agency stated that the participants in the sit-in organized by the Palestinian national forces in front of the headquarters of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Gaza City raised the Palestinian flag and pictures of a number of prisoners and banners calling on the relevant human rights institutions and the international community to put an end to their suffering as a result of the violations of the occupation and to release them, led by Abu Hamid, who is in danger Imminent death due to willful medical negligence.
The participants emphasized that the practices of the occupation forces against the prisoners are war crimes and crimes against humanity and summarize the occupation policy against the Palestinian people as a whole and are inconsistent with all international conventions and norms, including the Fourth Geneva Convention.
