Emmanuel Macron announced Thursday, September 15 that a bill on asylum would be tabled "
from the beginning of 2023
" in the face of an "
absurd policy
" which is both "
inefficient and inhuman
".
“
A bill relating to asylum, therefore to
immigration
to the Republic, will be tabled from the beginning of 2023
”, declared the Head of State before the prefects, adding that “
our policy today is absurd
” because it “
consists in putting women and men who arrive, who are in the greatest misery
” in the poorest neighborhoods.
