Herzog said at the ceremony: "Two years have passed since those agreements, what began as a wish and an aspiration that unites us all, now stands as a fait accompli: the Abraham agreements have changed and are still changing our region beyond recognition. In the last two years, we have seen how much power lies in the willingness to change in good neighborliness, in interpersonal encounters , unmediated. We have seen how a brave partnership can be the basis for change, yes, even when we don't agree on everything."
