Triple warning in Bavaria: Heavy rain, wind and gusts of wind threaten here

Heavy rain, wind and squalls.

The weather in Bavaria will also be uncomfortable on Thursday.

The DWD has issued several warnings.

Munich – Wednesday was already more than uncomfortable in Bavaria: continuous rain, wind and gusts of wind and thunderstorms.

An improvement in the weather is not in sight for the time being.

The German Weather Service (DWD) also warns on Thursday: Wind and gusts of wind in the south, gusts of wind in and around Munich and heavy rain in the north – an overview.

Weather in the foothills of the Alps: DWD warns of wind and gusts of wind

• Garmisch-Partenkirchen district

• Weilheim-Schongau district

• District of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen

In the districts (see list above), the DWD warns of gusts of wind until 8 p.m. and gusts of wind between 65 and 85 kilometers per hour until midnight.

In exposed locations, severe gusts of wind up to 100 kilometers per hour must be expected.

The thunderstorms on Wednesday left flooded streets and basements in the Upper Palatinate.

Lightning struck a roof truss, a TV show struggled with signal interference.

The gust of wind warning applies in the affected districts until 8 p.m.

These can be up to 60 kilometers per hour.
