Finding a rental has rarely been so complicated in Île-de-France.

If the start of the school year is a traditionally busy period, the classifieds site De Particulier à Particulier (PAP) has never recorded such a drop in the number of rentals.

“The rental market has tightened enormously in a context of strong demand, up 7% compared to 2019 – the reference year chosen to avoid bias linked to the health crisis –, and a drop of 6% in supply of goods”, worries Laetitia Caron, the general manager of the site.
