Almost every weekend, Christina Zacherl from Ismaning transforms into a princess, pirate or knight.
For a year now, the 27-year-old has been offering very special birthday parties as a part-time job.
Ismaning - When Christina Zacherl slips into the blue dress of the Ice Crystal Queen from a famous Disney film series, she also fulfills her own childhood dream to a certain extent.
"I used to admire princesses as a little girl and wished I could be one myself," says the 27-year-old.
“Now I can make the children happy myself.
The light in their eyes when they first see me in disguise is a magical moment.”

For a year now, the 27-year-old has been offering very special birthday parties part-time - and wants to give the children a little joy in times of war and pandemics.
"It was a big step, but I've never regretted it"
A year ago she founded her company that plans and organizes children's birthday parties.
"That was a big step, but I've never regretted it," says Zacherl.
Her main job is a dental assistant in a practice in Ismaning.
In her free time she is involved with the amateur theater "Kulturbixn" in Unterföhring.
A few years ago she began training as a musical actress in Munich, which she was unable to complete due to health reasons.
"I was missing the creative side, so I looked around for agencies that offer children's birthday parties." Zacherl found what he was looking for and applied to various companies - but it never really worked out.
That's why she came up with the idea of starting her own company.
"My mom couldn't understand it at first.
Raising three children was enough for her.

Disguised as a princess, pirate, Indian, knight, cowgirl or Little Red Riding Hood, she makes the little ones happy on their special day.

On her website, she offers various packages that are designed for a maximum of ten children aged four to seven years and one and a half to two and a half hours.
The price range goes from 125 euros to 220 euros.
“Princess parties are the most popular.
So I dress up and surprise the children.” Zacherl has around ten costumes hanging in her closet – from Rapunzel to knight, cowgirl, pirate, Indian and Little Red Riding Hood.
A small investment that hangs between the trousers and T-shirts of the woman from Ismaning, because every dress and every wig is worth several hundred euros.
"I don't want the costumes to look like cheap fancy dress costumes.
They should be of high quality and resemble the clothes in the movies.
I'm a perfectionist there," says Zacherl and laughs.
Almost every weekend, the 27-year-old drives through the district or even further to make children happy.
“We sing together, play games, go on a scavenger hunt or do handicrafts.
I also offer children's face painting and glitter tattoos.” Especially since the beginning of the war and the Corona pandemic, there has been a great demand for special birthday celebrations.
"My job is to give the children a happy birthday for a few hours." But not only the little ones are enchanted by Zacherl, "mothers are often enthusiastic too".
