After the bite incident in Munich: the dog bites Bub (2) in the head in Lower Bavaria

A dog attacked a boy in Bavaria.

A mongrel bit a boy in Frontenhausen several times, the child was seriously injured.

It was the third incident involving the dog.

Frontenhausen – In Lower Bavaria, a small child was attacked by a dog on Tuesday (September 13) at around 9.40 a.m.

The police said in a press release.

The dog owner (62) walked his free-ranging mongrel dog on a dirt road.

The animal then suddenly ran into the garden of an adjacent property in Frontenhausen (Dingolfing-Landau district) and attacked the boy (2) inside.

The child was seriously injured, the boy suffered multiple bite injuries on his head and body.

He was taken to a hospital in a rescue helicopter.

"As part of the investigations so far, it turned out that the dog had already bitten a person in Munich in March and in Frontenhausen in July of this year.

After the first incident, the responsible security authority commissioned an expert opinion on the dog.

The second incident happened shortly after this report was prepared," the police said.

The investigations in both cases are still ongoing.

After attack on boys: half-breed in the animal shelter – investigations are ongoing

In the early afternoon of September 15, the competent security authority decided that the animal was “taken away from the accused dog owner as part of the immediate execution”.

The mongrel was taken to an animal shelter.

The police searched the owner's apartment and secured, among other things, data carriers as evidence, which are currently being evaluated.

The public prosecutor's office in Landshut, together with the Landshut criminal investigation department, is investigating the dog owner, among other things because of dangerous bodily harm.

That probably backfired: a stranger tried to break into a house in Bavaria – and was bitten by the dog living there.
