VIDEO – On Twitter, the channel announced the return of the actor and director at the controls of a new program broadcast every evening at 11 p.m.

Two years that "Burger Quiz" fans have been desperately waiting for Alain Chabat's return to television.

But against all odds, it is not at the controls of the game that the latter is about to return.

Indeed, according to a video posted Friday on Twitter, the 63-year-old man with multiple hats has decided to take the lead in a “Late show”.

on TF1, Alain Chabat staged himself with Léa Drucker and Jamel Debbouze in a parody of a recent scene with King Charles III.

On Tuesday, September 13, the new sovereign of the United Kingdom had to sign a guestbook at Hillsborough Castle, in Northern Ireland.

After getting the date wrong, the king was particularly annoyed to find himself with ink-soaked fingers after the pen leaked.

"Oh my God, I hate it

," he said as he handed over to Camilla.

In the video, Alain Chabat obviously plays the role of the king, and Léa Drucker that of the queen consort nicknamed Batman by her fictitious husband.

Contrary to the date, it is on the hour that the actor and director is wrong, thus indicating the schedule for the broadcast of his "Late Show", not at noon but at 11 p.m. as Jamel Debbouze specifies by way of servant.

“Here you go, come on, I hate that!

We are there to sign contracts for a late show and the pens do not work

,” exclaims Alain Chabat.

“I didn't iron my shoelaces this morning, I knew it was going to be a shitty day.

If I don't have a pen, what do I sign with?

, he added leaving the room followed by Jamel Debbouze.

After several decades spent on Canal+, Alain Chabat seems to like TF1.

"Yes a lot"

, he told us three years ago during an interview.

“We have a more than royal peace.

We have interlocutors who are customers, that is to say who laugh and ask us what will happen in the next episode.

I only talk about art with them.

“You know what 'Burger Quiz' is, I don't know the TF1 group but you understand that the show has a tone and if you take it away, it's no longer 'Burger Quiz'”

.

He responded to me :

“I know the show by heart and you will have complete editorial freedom
