The problems in the track bed of the Kochelseebahn are not the only construction sites of Deutsche Bahn in the Loisachtal.

In Bichl there are two transitions for which solutions have already been worked out.

What about implementation?

Bichl – As soon as train traffic on the Kochelseebahn route started again on Tuesday, there was another disruption – and further timetable changes and temporary rail replacement services have been announced for the next two months.

For Bichl, however, these are by no means the only problems with Deutsche Bahn.

There, the closure of the unrestricted level crossing "Am Bühel" is also causing headaches.

The municipality is calling for a traffic solution there, which must be related to the level crossing on the B11.

Former Transport Minister Schreyer (CSU) promised a quick solution

After deadlocked talks and an unexpected withdrawal by Deutsche Bahn, the Heilbrunner state parliament member Martin Bachhuber (CSU) got involved and in January brought the then Bavarian Minister of Transport Kerstin Schreyer and representatives of Deutsche Bahn to Bichl for a meeting.

At that time, concrete solutions were worked out (we reported).

What has become of it now?

The good news: A concrete solution is in the works for the innovations on the B11.

Here the transition is relocated and widened.

The site will be structurally modified so that Klosterallee is at the same level as Sportplatzstrasse.

This makes crossing much easier for cyclists.

In addition, after completion, farmers and vehicles with trailers coming from the direction of Bichl will be able to turn left (this has so far been forbidden).

The municipality and the building authority worked out the details

In the past few months, the municipality of Bichl has initiated the sale of the necessary plots of land - they are privately owned - so that the district can acquire them, reports Mayor Benedikt Pössenbacher.

The notary appointment is coming soon.

At the same time, the State Building Authority continued to work on the details.

The first plans were already in place when the minister visited.

"The tender is now being prepared and will be completed in winter," says Martin Herda, who is responsible for the district in the state building authority in Weilheim.

The work will then be carried out in spring or summer 2023.

According to Herda, the federal government will assume all of the costs.

He assumes around 200,000 euros.

Bahn: "Planning has begun"

And what happens "Am Bühel"?

"Planning for the level crossing has begun," Deutsche Bahn said when asked by our newspaper.

"The planning office is also coordinating with the municipality on the approval of land use." Conversion and commissioning are still planned for 2024.

A pedestrian and cycle path with staggered grids is being built here at the expense of Deutsche Bahn.

Tölz live: bridge closure has begun

The "Am Bühel" level crossing has been closed since the summer of 2019.

At that time there had almost been an accident again.

Since then, iron lattice fences have been designed to prevent crossing the rails, but shortcuts have been formed.
