After the split MK Abu Shahada in a Facebook attack on Hadash and Tal: "We are trying to be accepted by Lapid's center camp" be decisive"

Balad chairman and MK Sami Abu Shahada said today (Friday) that his former partners in the joint list Ayman Odeh and Ahmed Tibi "prefer to eliminate Balad at this stage" in order to enter the bloc led by Prime Minister Yair Lapid.

He also claimed that there was a political decision behind the dissolution of the joint list.

On the other hand, Hadash chairman Ayman Odeh did not rule out recommending Lapid or Gantz for prime ministership.

We will recall that yesterday the Balad faction decided to withdraw from the list and run alone in the upcoming elections, despite the initial agreement between the Arab factions. Out of the list, which in the last Knesset consisted of Hadash, Ta'al and Balad - now only Ta'al and Hadash remain.

Mansor Abbas's Prime Minister ran separately in the last elections, while now Balad will also try its luck.

The joint faction without Balad,

"(Here is) for you the truth of what happened yesterday evening regarding our decision to submit an independent list to Balad.

There was an attempt by some parties to circumvent the truth to justify their political crime and shape public opinion..." Abu Shahada wrote.

In a video published on Facebook, the chairman of Balad said: "I believe that there is a political decision. Ayman Odeh and Ahmed Tibi saw that Yair Lapid is closer to them than Balad.

And in order for them to be in the centrist camp that leads him to the torch and be acceptable to him - they prefer to eliminate Balad."

Bo Shahada also said: "We were surprised by the technical reasons knowing that there were no technical problems and all the things were ready and the list had been ready since the evening hours... We were surprised that they were going to submit a list without us. They did not inform us that they did not want to submit a list (which includes the three factions - that "k).

Meanwhile, in an interview with News 12, Hadash chairman Ayman Odeh said that it is too early to say whether the joint list will recommend one of the leaders of the left bloc, Kerry Gantz or Lapid.

"First of all, we will know how to be decisive," Odeh said.
