Doctor and psychologist church married gay couple in documentary: Knowing it can be done

The 33rd LGBT Film Festival opened today (17th). The earlier documentary "Queer Forever" held a screening symposium. The film presented the LGBT community from four Chinese social environments; Binary bodybuilders, Taiwanese girls who experienced the legalization of same-sex marriage, and the movie also took us to the wedding scene of a pair of Hong Kong gay men.

In the film, Geoffrey and Dino, who were able to walk into the church and get married in the presence of relatives and friends, said that they were like a "blessed group"; because of this "advantage", they felt that they had to stand up.

The movie unadorned the story of the two people's commitment to stay together for a lifetime, recorded and put it in front of the audience, "I hope more people know that there is a possibility, and if everyone knows it can be done (wedding)."

Gay couple who has been in love for 8 years in Guam registers for marriage

Geoffrey and Dino met on an online forum about 8 years ago, started dating a few months later, and, like many others, went through a "love run" together.

In September 2019, they registered their marriage in Guam, but they said in their hearts that last July, the day they finished the "wine set," was "Married" (married).

He is a clinical psychologist, and Geoffrey is a doctor. Geoffrey also said that they are "good" when they go out together on weekdays, and they have been interviewed by the media in the past, and they are not afraid of being pointed out, "When the director asked us, the most important people around knew that we were married, so it was not a big concern. ”

Queer Forever interviewed the Chinese LGBT community from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore, who told their different queer stories about self-identity, love, marriage and personal experiences.

Geoffrey and Dino seem to be the luckier couple when it comes to bondage and release; however, they also point out that Hong Kong is still far from gender-friendly and gay equality.
