An era came to an end: Beate Frommhold-Buhl, 17 years at the head of the SPD Neufahrn, did not stand in the new elections.
Her successor: Maximilian Heumann.
Neufahrn
- In her closing speech, Frommhold-Buhl justified her decision by saying that she had recently taken on more and more tasks, especially in the social field.
Now the consequences of the Ukraine war and the refugees are also added.
And because she "never wanted to be a half-strong local chairperson" and it was also time for a "generational change", she decided not to run again.
Her conclusion: "These were consistently beautiful and enriching years".
And she is also proud of some of the things that have happened under her aegis.

The "new guy" who was elected at Gasthof Maisberger with 22 out of 22 possible votes is Maximilian Heumann: The work in the "very good" SPD parliamentary group in the municipal council is characterized by a common thread, the motions of the comrades in the municipal council are all was adopted unanimously or with a large majority, that is how he looks back.
Heumann sets himself the goal of “a socially just new journey”.
In his inaugural speech, Heumann then named "a socially just new journey" as one of his main topics.
In plain language: The municipality must use instruments such as a qualified rent index, the construction of publicly funded apartments or a local model so that citizens can still afford to live.
In addition, the strengthening of municipal finances in Neufahrn is on his agenda, as well as environmental policy, in which the Neufahrn SPD have already proven to be "particularly progressive".
His predecessor praised Heumann as a local politician with "heart and soul", who was a role model and mentor for him.

The board of directors, elected unanimously by the members, is completed by “Vize” Daniel Fischer, Manuela Auinger as cashier and Uwe Möller as secretary.
The assessors are Ulla and Lukas Schablitzki, Edith Mayer-Bergers, Karlhans Warth, Ingrid Schöfer, Nadine Roithmaier, Beate Frommhold-Buhl, Rebecca Huthansl, Wilfried Höbel and Alina Graf.
Sonja and Karlhans Warth have been members of the SPD for 50 years
Even before the new elections, Frommhold-Buhl was allowed to carry out honors as her last official act, so to speak: Sonja and Karlhans "Mandi" Warth have been members of the SPD for 50 years and have been lively and active since their "wild" Juso times, says Frommhold-Buhl .
Ulla Schablitzki, who has been a member of the SPD for 15 years, was also honored.
And then Frommhold-Buhl herself was able to receive a certificate from her successor on the local board: she has been a member of the SPD for 20 years – 17 of them as local chairmen.
The end of an era.
