The “Kultur Schloss Seefeld” association has twelve events on the program in autumn, including some special concerts.
Seefeld
– The board of directors of the “Kultur Schloss Seefeld” association presented the autumn-winter programme, which ranges from jazz to classical music, cabaret and “et cetera” to a children’s programme.
"It's done": The board was also able to come up with the good news that visitors will be able to enjoy exceptional acoustics in the future, as numerous measures have been taken in the brewhouse, the concert hall.
There will be twelve concerts in the period from September 19th to December 10th - at the highest level and so varied that autumn in Seefeld can come quietly.
The first concert from the classical department with the "Amelie Scheffels Quartet" is almost sold out.
With "her unusually warm voice and a great band", says Brigitte Heigenhuber, who is responsible for new jazz groups in the association, Amelie Scheffels will perform her own compositions and arrangements of some of the most beautiful jazz standards of the past century.
The Jazz section continues on October 9th with the "Joel Frahm Trio".
Saxophonist Joel Frahm, an established jazz great in New York, is making a stop at Seefeld Castle on his European tour.

Harald Müller, chairman of the association and head of the jazz department, promises that "the evening will bring a New York jazz atmosphere to Schloss Seefeld".
The jazz series will conclude on December 10th with the “Bernd Lhotzky Trio” and Peter Veit;
Lhotzky is considered the world's leading interpreter of the Harlem stride piano.
He appears in interaction with the well-known actor Peter Veit, who talks about old jazz history.
The classic starts on October 22 with the quartet and quintet with soloists from the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra.
"It has become common practice for them to hold their dress rehearsals here," reveals Dr.
Brigitte Altenberger, Deputy Chairwoman and responsible for the Classics department.
She is very enthusiastic about the "Spirit of Musicke".
These are four female musicians who only play female composers and have been nominated for the International Classic Music Awards with their new CD "Woman 4B aroque III".
The "Quinteto del Arco Nuevo" will perform as "Et cetera" on October 30th. The musicians use a special bow technique that is only played in tango.
On November 5, the actor Stefan Wilkening and the guitar duo "Gruber @ Makler" will be guests with "The History of the World in 9 Guitars".
"A fantastic journey through time from early Egypt to Jimi Hendrix", promise the organizers, who experience it as "our most complex project".
On December 4th, the cabaret shows "The Last of Their Kind" by Gankino Circus - "the return of the stage pigs", as board member Maja Grundei aptly calls this large portion of provincial madness with the four virtuoso musicians and odd characters.
The children don't miss out either with "Der Glitterfisch" on October 21st and "Frau Holle" on December 2nd.
