Berlin came under new criticism from kyiv on September 16 on arms deliveries, with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kouleba lamenting that the recently announced shipment of armored vehicles does not meet the country's immediate needs.
The German Ministry of Defense announced on Thursday that it would “
very soon
” provide Ukraine with 50 “
Dingo
” type all-terrain transport vehicles.

It's a mystery to us: we are currently asking for Leopard tanks or Marten tanks, and Germany is supplying the Dingo-type armored vehicles.
This too is useful, and we appreciate it.
But that's not what we need most in combat
,” Dmytro Kouleba said in an interview posted online by the
Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung
(FAZ) daily.

German reluctance to deliver tanks
The German government has been criticized in recent days, in kyiv as in Berlin, for its reluctance to deliver combat tanks, which could help make the difference in the midst of the Ukrainian offensive.

Even if the training of soldiers for the Leopard tanks took longer, these tanks would be needed on the battlefield in two or three months.

The German Defense Minister also announced on Thursday the dispatch of two new Mars-II multiple rocket launchers, as well as 200 rockets.
