The local authorities in the city of Berdyansk, Zaporozhye region, announced the killing of the official of the referendum commission on joining Russia and her husband, the deputy head of the city's civil aviation authority.
"The official of the referendum commission on joining Russia, Lyudmila Boyko, and her husband, deputy head of the city's civil aviation authority, Oleg Boyko, were killed," the mayor of Berdyansk said in a statement today, stressing that this crime will not go unpunished and that investigations are underway to clarify the details of the accident.
Ukrainian forces and their collaborators continue to target officials in various liberated areas.
Earlier today, the Lugansk People's Republic announced the death of the Prosecutor General and his deputy in a terrorist bombing in his office.
