The Arnhofer Berg has its pitfalls.
A truck driver had to struggle with this on Thursday.
Because the semitrailer didn't get any further, it had to be blocked.
Weyarn
- Due to a traffic accident, the MB 20 district road on Arnhofer Berg (Weyarn municipality) had to be closed for about three quarters of an hour on Thursday morning.
Police say the damage was minor, but no one was injured.
But a semi-trailer truck couldn't make any headway on the incline.
According to the police report, a 50-year-old professional driver from Feldkirchen-Westerham drove east on the MB20 district road in the direction of Mittenkirchen.
Halfway up the Arnhofer Berg hill, he had to stop his truck due to traffic.
Articulated lorry had to stop in the middle of an incline
When he wanted to start uphill again, the tires of the articulated lorry kept spinning due to the wetness and the incline.
During the attempt to pull away, the articulated train ran slightly into the shoulder and got stuck there.
Only a local farmer was able to free the truck with his tractor.
For the duration of the rescue operation, the MB 20 was blocked on both sides at the accident site for about 45 minutes.
There was damage to the ground amounting to around 50 euros.
