Nestor P. (65) killed three people when he raced over the Wasserburger Landstraße at 128 km/h in 2017.

Five years after the accident, he has not yet started his prison sentence - but is now brazenly demanding his driver's license back.

Munich – This man has three people on his conscience: Nestor P. (65) crashed his BMW X5 into an Opel Corsa on Wasserburger Landstraße at 128 km/h in September 2017 and caused a horror accident.

Three people died and one has since been disabled.

But there is hardly a trace of remorse: Because Nestor P. has not started his prison sentence even after five years - instead he is now demanding his driver's license back.

On September 27th, the Munich I district court will renegotiate the case - it is the second time that Nestor P. has taken action against his conviction.

At the end of 2019, the district court had already convicted the senior of negligent homicide.

He was to go to prison for four years - P. also had to give up his driver's license and received a lifelong ban.

He was literally taken out of circulation.

But the death racer appealed and the case went to the district court.

There should be renegotiations there in October 2020, but Nestor P. requested a report on his health - because he had given a blackout as the reason for the accident.

The death racer was examined for months, but doctors found no limitations in him.

Nestor P. was considered fully responsible.

The regional court then sentenced him to three years and nine months in prison in October 2021.

He also took action against this judgment and appealed to the Bavarian Supreme Court.

Here the death racer defended himself against his lifelong driver's license ban.

With success: The court lifted the block and referred the case back to the district court, where it is now being reopened.

However, limited to the statement of legal consequences.

Process of negligent homicide: death racer Nestor P. (65) attacked his judgment twice

In plain language: "It will only be about the driver's license," says defender Hartmut Wächtler, who represents Nestor P.

He explains: “There was a contradiction in the verdict.

If my client has no verifiable health problems, his driving license cannot be withdrawn for life.” Nestor P. needs the car on a daily basis.

An affront to the bereaved!

Pierre L. lost his son Julien and daughter Ann-Sophie to the death racer.

He says: "It's hard for my family to bear.

This man has my children on his conscience, but there is still no final judgment.” That could finally change on September 27th!
