A sinkhole opens in Ayalon lanes (Walla system!)

The authorities have not yet begun to investigate the circumstances of the formation of the sinkhole that opened this evening (Saturday) in the Ayalon lanes, but according to a preliminary assessment - the sinkhole was created as a result of the construction work on the "Spiral" tower, the fourth tower of the Azrieli company.

Officials at the Ayalon Roads Company estimate that the sinkhole was created as a result of drilling carried out at the construction site of the Azrieli Towers, which caused the water below the ground to flow towards the road and open the hole.
