Tan Yaozong believes that it is very good news that the number of Shenzhen Health Stations has increased from 1,000 to 1,500 per day, but the demand for transit is still huge. He expects the number of places to continue to gradually increase, and also hopes that the mainland will change the "7+3" quarantine arrangement.
He also pointed out that if only one quarantine location is arranged for the "reverse quarantine" to and from the Mainland, the number of rooms may be insufficient, and the authorities will have to find other places to increase the number of places.
He suggested that the government should consider the Loop which is the closest to Shenzhen. He pointed out that Hong Kong residents going to the mainland would have to go through the border in a closed loop after completing their quarantine. Therefore, he believed that risk control would not be a problem, and the authorities should continue to look for other suitable quarantine locations.
He also said that he has noticed that there are strong voices for Hong Kong to relax entry quarantine measures. Since many other countries and regions have cancelled relevant requirements, I believe the government will seriously consider and make adjustments under safe conditions.
