Princes William and Harry and Queen Elizabeth II's six other grandchildren attended a wake on Saturday evening around her coffin, two days before the monarch's funeral.
The eight grandchildren gathered at 7 p.m. in Westminster Hall, their backs to the coffin and their heads bowed, under the gaze of visitors who came to bow before the remains of Elizabeth II, on display to the public until Monday morning.
Charles III's two sons were in uniform, unlike their six cousins.
It was a first for Harry since his shattering retirement from the monarchy in January 2020, after moving to California with his wife Meghan Markle, with whom he had a son, Archie, born on May 6, 2019.

The other six grandchildren, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips, Lady Louise Windsor and James, meanwhile, were dressed in a black outfit, similar to what they have worn since the Queen's death.
The vigil of the Queen's grandchildren lasted nearly fifteen minutes.
On Friday, the Queen's children, King Charles III, Anne, Andrew and Edward, all in military uniform, also watched over the coffin draped with the royal standard and adorned with the imperial crown for a quarter of an hour.
