The Neuching cultural association is back with a new play after the Corona break.

"Muck's Mouse Murder" premieres on October 7th.

Tickets are available in advance on Sunday, September 18th.

Neuching

– “Mucks Mice Murder” will soon be the motto in the Schuchardt-Stadl in Neuching.

With this play, the cultural association is making its comeback after the Corona break.

The premiere will be on Friday, October 7th at 7:30 p.m.

Advance sales will take place at the same location from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Sunday, September 18.

By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Erding newsletter.

When it came to planning the 2022 season, many of the members still had concerns, reports the chairman of the cultural association, Markus Sedlmeir.

Mainly because there are usually a lot of older visitors to the screenings.

The euphoria prevailed, however, and the actors in particular were keen on the stage.

And with a view to many other events such as the Volksfest & Co., not only Sedlmeier asked himself: "So why shouldn't we do it too?"

So the directors, Anna Glück and Sabrina Klaedtke, read through various scripts and got stuck with Ralph Wallner's "Mucks Mauserrl Mord".

The well-known author only wrote this piece in 2019. "Therefore we are certainly among the first to bring the story to the stage," says Sedlmeir happily.

It's about an unsympathetic guest in the "Roter Raben" who wears conspicuous red rubber boots.

The ominous guest soon disappeared, and the pastor's cook and sacristan smelled of murder - the list of suspects grew longer and longer.

Sedlmeir still has some doubts as to whether it will already be said on Saturday: "Sold out".

“A lot of people are still cautious.

It's just an unusual situation." As a precaution, the cultural association is therefore planning a second advance sale on Saturday, September 25, also from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

This date will only take place if tickets are still available.

The chairman promises a very funny performance, in which the well-known actors from the past will also be back on stage: "We have our tribe, but we do change," says Sedlmeier, without revealing the cast of the main roles.

Since 2004, the plays have been taking place in the traditional Stadl, where there is a special atmosphere, says Sedlmeier: "It's something different than in a gym.

It's just a lot more comfortable.” Everything is organized on a voluntary basis, and despite this, the entrance fee was still low at nine euros for adults and five euros for children up to twelve years of age.

The members offer homemade snacks.

The cultural association is not interested in making a big profit, explains the chairman: “We are happy if we can give people a nice evening.

Of course, it would be nice if there was a little something left over for a follow-up party at the end.”

More information about the performances on Fridays 7, 14 and 21, Saturdays 8, 15 and 22 October at 7.30 p.m. and Sunday 9 October at 5 p.m. and the music cabaret with Mathias Waiters on Sunday, October 23rd can be found online at www.kulturverein-neuching.de.
