Participants in the International Scientific Conference on Dentistry: a space for exchanging experiences and introducing the latest developments in this field

The participants in the twenty-first international scientific conference of the Dental Syndicate stressed that it is an important opportunity to exchange information and experiences, raise the practical and scientific level of doctors and achieve scientific and knowledge additions to them.

The conference, which concluded its activities today at the Conferences Palace in Damascus, was attended by doctors from Arab and foreign countries who gave lectures and specialized workshops on the latest developments in dentistry, diagnosis, treatment, jaw surgery, and the development in the field of cosmetic dentistry.

In a statement to SANA reporter, Dr. Jean-Marie McCrena, the participant from Lebanon, drew attention to the importance of the conference to spread awareness of correct medical practice in the field of dentistry, especially with the increase in the spread of commercial beauty centers, stressing the role of conferences in learning about new scientific methods in this field.

The head of the Transplant Department at the National Center at the Syrian Board, Dr. Ghassan Basit, pointed to the role of external participations that were presented directly or via the Internet in enriching the conference topics and practical sessions in terms of drug and surgical treatment.

The student of the Faculty of Dentistry at Damascus University, Taima Ammarin, noted the conference for being a scientific space to support students’ knowledge and skills by learning about the latest scientific findings in dentistry, its treatments and methods of managing difficult cases.

It is noteworthy that the twenty-first international scientific conference of the Dental Association was launched last Thursday with Arab and international participation at the Conferences Palace in Damascus.
