The Israeli occupation’s open war on the occupied city of Jerusalem is constantly escalating, and hardly a day passes without its forces carrying out arrests, raids and demolition of homes and facilities, in addition to violating Islamic and Christian sanctities, especially Al-Aqsa Mosque, with the aim of uprooting Palestinians from the city and forcibly displacing them from it in an attempt to Judaize and separate it from its Palestinian surroundings and link it with settlements The occupation established on the occupied territories of 1948.

The National Office for Defending Land and Resisting Settlements of the Palestine Liberation Organization stated in a report published today on its website that the occupation authorities announced a plan to expand two settlements established on the lands of the towns of Jaba’, east of Jerusalem and Hizma in the north, by 600 units for the first and 285 for the second, in addition to the construction of settlement tunnels and roads within a policy of encirclement. Jerusalem and the division of the West Bank into isolated areas in the north, center and south, connected to each other only by tunnels, bridges and roads, which the occupation controls and controls the movement of Palestinians in.

The report pointed out that the occupation authorities completed the establishment of a settlement outpost that they started in mid-2017 in the Al-Maghariba neighborhood adjacent to Al-Aqsa, which led to the obliteration of Arab and Islamic landmarks and the erasure of their monuments in the area. Old town.

The report pointed out that the occupation also continues the policy of systematic ethnic cleansing against Jerusalemites, as dozens of them recently notified the demolition of their homes in the town of Isawiya, northeast of Jerusalem, and the village of Al-Kaabneh in the north, indicating that displacement threatens 600 Palestinians, who were threatened by the occupation to demolish their homes at any moment.

The report stated that the occupation forces demolished two houses in the town of Al-Isawiya and another in the village of Rojib in Nablus, and delivered warnings to demolish several houses in Bethlehem and the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan in Salfit, Al-Ras Al-Ahmar area and Khirbet Yarza and Al-Dira in the northern Jordan Valley. The occupation forces also closed the East Atouf and Al-Ras Al-Ahmar roads south of Tubas Hundreds of Palestinians used them for their daily commute.
