The singer and composer Zebulon Natanov and the prodigy Bentzi Klatskin in a special performance in memory of the late Barela Lifesh, who was killed not long ago in a serious car accident after returning from the rabim's vindication - offering prayers for passers-by in Kiryat Malachi.
Natanov, a resident of the city, knew Barela personally, according to him , "Like many of the city's residents, I shuddered and was pained to hear the hard news, I shut myself in the studio, and amidst the great sorrow, the hundred-year-old music and song of Rabbi Shalom Kharitonov - 'The son is dear to me' rose up and faded from me.
That was the moment when I decided that I had the task of renewing this special song, which vibrates every soul and dedicating it to the uplifting of his soul."
The source of the song's lyrics is in the verse in which the prophet Jeremiah prophesies about the extent of God's love for the people of Israel - known as Ephraim - as much as we are dear to him, the people of Israel - "as a playboy".
The words are familiar to every Jew from the prayers of the terrible days.
