The Erlangen police are currently dealing with a fatal accident.
A motorcyclist fell on a wet road and collided with a car.

The accident happened around 4 p.m. on Saturday (September 17) just before the Möhrendorf junction (near Erlangen) on the A73.
A 72-year-old man from Upper Franconia drove his motorcycle in the direction of Suhl, the police said.
As he overtook, he lost control of his machine.

It had rained heavily for a short time, and the road was very wet at the time of the accident.
Immediately after the motorcyclist swerved to overtake, he began to swerve.
"He managed to get back into the right lane, but he couldn't control his machine and fell."
A following car collided with the 72-year-old.
The motorcyclist slipped about 80 meters across the road to the left and "hit the outer crash barrier".
Immediately initiated first-aid measures by road users and called police officers remained unsuccessful.
"The motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident."
There was damage to the car.
After the onset of hail, there were several accidents in the Nuremberg region on Saturday evening.
Several people were injured in a mass crash.
