Since the early morning hours, the University of Aleppo witnessed the influx of students, teaching and administrative cadres to elect their representatives in the local administration councils. For the Aleppo Provincial Council Department.

In the electoral center at the Faculty of Medicine, which includes 5 electoral committees and 10 polling boxes, the head of the center, Dr. Amir Sakr, pointed to the distinguished turnout of students, which indicates that voting is a national duty and a constitutional right for every citizen, pointing to the simplified and easy procedures in which the electoral process takes place.

The faculty member at the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Nazira Sarkis, Deputy Dean for Scientific Affairs, pointed out the importance of this demonstration to exercise the electoral right, calling for the selection of suitable candidates to carry out the duties of the local administration.

From the Faculty of Law, the student, Mohieddin Nirbani, expressed the importance of the Syrian youth’s participation in these elections to choose the right candidates who will contribute to building the country, while the student Nevin Bilal from the Faculty of Architecture indicated that the elections are conducted in a democratic manner and that university students play their part to choose the appropriate candidates.

The student, Nadim Nahas, from the fifth year at the Faculty of Medicine, stressed that the elections for the local administration councils are an important constitutional entitlement, among the student Faisal Al-Ahmad from the Engineering Technical Institute, the necessity of participating in the elections as a duty of all university students.
