The Wiesn is running again and this can even be observed on the B2 in the district.
Here two Italians were on an odyssey.
They didn't get the key back the next day either.
Puchheim – Saturday around 10 p.m., road users alerted the police because a car with an Italian license plate was waving on the road.
The officials stopped the car at Puchheim.
Inside were two young Italians who had been driving around aimlessly after visiting the Oktoberfest.
The 23-year-old driver had a blood alcohol level of 1.6, the passenger, who was initially asleep, was also heavily under the influence of alcohol.
Driver's license and keys were confiscated.
When the driver showed up at the police station on Sunday morning to pick up his stuff, he got nothing.
The officers noticed the smell of alcohol again and did a test.
Result: not roadworthy.
