Controversial song "Layla" sounds in the Wiesn tent - because the comedian smuggled it to the band

It's controversial - but it will probably be the Wiesn song in 2022. Shortly after it was tapped, it was also played in the Schottenhamel marquee - but that wasn't planned.
Munich – Weeks before the start of the Wiesn, the hit song “Layla” caused a stir because of controversial lyrics.
Completely exaggerated, said some, sexist and not up-to-date others.
The song was even banned at many folk festivals, and played several times at others for this very reason.
Unsurprisingly, the controversy didn't hurt the song.
At the Oktoberfest, too, "Layla" was played several times on the first day.

Schottenhamel marquee, noon: Munich's political celebrities were just celebrating the opening of the Wiesn 2022 - Mayor Reiter had needed three beats - the first notes of "Layla" sounded.
The marquee agreed, Bavaria's Prime Minister Markus Söder had previously stated that everyone should be able to sing what they want.

reports, "Layla" should not have been played.
In front of the assembled political celebrities, the band agreed to "Layla" in the Schottenhamel marquee - but that shouldn't have happened.

Schottenhamel host Christian Schottenhamel expressed his confusion to the newspaper.
He was surprised that the song was played and then asked the conductor how it had happened.
Reason was apparently a comedian.

, the Kapellmeister stated that a comedian and camera came to him, offered to conduct and asked the band if they could master "Layla".
He assumed this was agreed and agreed.
