On Monday, channels around the world will be turned to England for a final farewell to the Queen.
Since the 1960s, Operation London Bridge, known for its code, here translated into French,
"the London bridge has fallen", has
dictated the course of the days following the death of Elizabeth II.
As required by procedure, the official funeral of the sovereign takes place nine days after her death, this Monday, September 19.

The ceremony will be held at Westminster Abbey in London.
From 9 a.m., the bells of Big Ben will ring.
The country, in national mourning, will suspend all its activities.
After this first procedure, the queen will then be buried in St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle, alongside her husband Prince Philip, who died in April 2021.
On the television
In France, several channels are mobilizing for the event.
TF1 and its info channel LCI, channel 26, will share the air for the queen's funeral.
The special “Farewell” edition will feature live from London, journalists Stefan Etcheverry, Adrien Gindre and Margot Haddad will be seated on a set overlooking Westminster Hall where speakers will join them throughout the day.
Special envoys to the United Kingdom such as Solenn Riou, Christophe Beaugrand, François-Xavier Ménage and Émilie Broussouloux will be mobilized and deployed in all the emblematic places of the British capital.
From 8 am, Anne-Claire Coudray and Gilles Bouleau will take over, surrounded by guests and experts.
