In a few hours, at 08:30 Israel time, the doors of Westminster Hall will be closed, thus bringing to an end four days in which hundreds of thousands of British citizens passed by the coffin of Queen Elizabeth II and paid her last respects.
This fact does not prevent tens of thousands from continuing to stand in the "longest line in the world", on their way to take advantage of the last opportunity to pass the coffin.
Families, individuals, the elderly and the young are still filling the line, all confident that they will be able to reach their destination before the doors close.
"Day or night, it doesn't matter to us.
We will get there in the end,' they told us.

In the last hours, soldiers will reinforce the exhausted police and rescue forces, whose men regulated this extraordinary mass movement in the last four days.
This morning (Monday) the long journey to say goodbye to the Queen will reach its climax in the state funeral ceremonies, at the end of which she will be buried in Windsor Castle alongside her husband Philip and her father King George VI.

A minute of silence
In the meantime, at eight o'clock in the evening local time, residents all over Britain were asked to pause their daily lives for a moment to remember the figure who has been identified with Britain more than any other for the past 70 years.
