If Doctor Hiba Trraf, 31, returns his lab coat, it's for a simple reason.
The practitioner, exhausted, fears to commit the irreparable: a mistake that would cause the death of a child.
And for good reason, since the month of January, the pediatrician is the only one registered with the order still in post at the hospital center of Montluçon.
She is only accompanied by two foreign doctors, associate attached practitioners, whom she supervises.

Between conventional hospitalizations, pediatric emergencies, childbirth, neonatal, administrative and other tasks, the pediatrician spends between 80 and 120 hours in the hospital.

It therefore authorized the application of a 20% increase in the territorial solidarity premium to facilitate the practice of volunteer practitioners from other hospitals, and asked the health reserve to benefit from reinforcements.
But for Hiba Trraff, these measures are not enough.

It's true that positions have always been open, that job postings have always been visible, but we're not attractive, there's too much work.
After a while when you pass under a threshold, no one wants to come, be on call one day out of 4, whereas positions are offered at the CHU de Clermont, in other hospitals where they sometimes have 2-3 guards per month with a guard rest behind

Last May, the collective Les Orphelins du Soins de Montluçon, which today gathered 2,600 signatures, wrote to the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister and the Minister of Health without ever getting any feedback.
To make the people concerned react, the collective organized a demonstration on Saturday, September 17 in front of the hospital.
