Election centers in the liberated Idlib countryside are witnessing a turnout by voters to exercise their right and electoral duty to choose their representatives for local councils.
In statements to SANA reporter among the voter Khaled Al-Daher after casting his vote at the election center in Khan Sheikhoun in Idlib governorate, the great importance and special nature of the elections given the governorate’s urgent need to rebuild the infrastructure and service facilities that have been destroyed by terrorism during the past years, which imposes responsibilities on the upcoming local council members Doubly touch the concerns of the people of their governorate and express them in the required manner so that they can be responded to and met by the concerned service and government agencies.
In turn, voter Madian Al-Hussein confirmed that the participation and the massive turnout of the people of Idlib governorate at the polling stations came out of their keenness to choose qualified people who are able to learn about the affairs of their governorate and work together with government and civil agencies to rebuild what terrorism has destroyed.
For his part, voter Sattam al-Youssef considered that the elections today are an important national entitlement for the Syrian governorates in general and Idlib governorate in particular, as it is a pivotal turning point in the process of development and reconstruction to keep pace with the active return of the people of the province to their cities and villages liberated by the Syrian Arab Army from terrorism.
