The electoral centers in Homs governorate are witnessing a remarkable influx of citizens to the polling stations to choose their representatives to elect local councils, in which 5,636 candidates are competing for 1,678 seats in the governorate in 960 centers.

The head of the Judicial Subcommittee in Homs Governorate for the Local Administrative Council Elections, Judge Ismail Shaaban, indicated in a statement to SANA reporter that the elections are going smoothly and easily and there are no problems, and the electoral process is still going on.

While inspecting the progress of the electoral process, the Governor of Homs, Engineer Namir Makhlouf, was briefed on a number of electoral centers in the governorate, including the General Secretariat of the Governorate, the Directorate of Agriculture, the city of Al-Rastan, and centers in the neighborhoods of Al-Hamidiyah, Al-Zahra and Baba Amr.
