Queen consort Camilla paid a personal tribute to Queen Elizabeth II in a televised message Sunday, saying she will always remember her "unforgettable" smile.
In a three-minute video, interlaced with archival footage of the queen, Camila praised Queen Elizabeth II for "carving out her own role" as a "lone woman" in a male-dominated world of international politics.

"She has always been a part of our lives. Now I am 75 years old and I don't remember anyone but the queen," the queen consort said.
"She made it a rule that she had her private time and her private passions and then her public role, and I think that's very important," Camila revealed, before discussing the queen's "true passion" for horse racing. .
"You wouldn't dare to question her or argue with her about how horses are bred or how they run because she would give you a very hard blue look," added the queen consort.

Camila also praised the late queen's sense of humor as she recalled her reaction to seeing Camila wearing different size heels the day before her wedding.
"She has those wonderful blue eyes, which when she smiles light up her whole face," added the queen consort.
The message was recorded before the queen's death and televised on the BBC on Sunday night, the night before the queen's state funeral.
