The Supreme Judicial Committee: Extending the election period for all centers for a period of two hours

The Supreme Judicial Committee for Elections announced the extension of the election period for two hours in all electoral centers in Syria, to end at 9:00 pm today.

The head of the Supreme Judicial Committee for Elections, Judge Counselor Jihad Murad, explained that the extension came as a result of what the Judicial Committee noted during its visit to the electoral centers in Damascus and its countryside, and according to what was reported by the judicial subcommittees in the governorates, about the increase in the percentage of citizens’ participation in the elections until the last hour of the period specified for the election process.
