The weather in the coming days shows unmistakably: It is autumn in Germany.

It's getting wet and cold in Germany, and the first snow of the year is falling in the mountains.

The cold air will not only meet warm water masses on the North Sea and cause decent precipitation there.

The rain clouds are also likely to accumulate at the edge of the Alps and bring gray permanent wet.

In the mountains, so the prospect, there will even be the first snow of the year from 1,500 meters - and not just a little bit of it.

Storm Qeenie brought cold autumn air in fits and starts in Germany and already on the evening of Friday, September 16th, there was a lot of rain in northern Lower Saxony.
