Oktoberfest begins on Saturday.
So everything should be ready by now, but there are still problems - for example, when waiters jump off.
Munich – Of course, the Oktoberfest always entails enormous personnel costs.
The waitresses play a crucial role in each tent.
But they were hard to find this year.
So it is said that there was a shortage of staff in the new Bräurosl.
Landlord Peter Reichert sees it calmly and puts it into perspective: It's quite normal for waiters to jump off before the Oktoberfest starts.
He has therefore already planned with 300, although he only needs 275.
"Five to eight have jumped off, but I still have enough," he says quite relaxed.

The waiters were probably not happy to be used in the beer garden.
A look at the weather report in Munich quickly explains why... Now they are trying their luck in other tents.
Because many hosts were recently still looking for staff to fill their waiting lists.
The shortage of staff in the catering trade also leaves its mark on the Oktoberfest.
For Peter Reichert, at least, the anger is limited.
"The new operators still have to learn," he comments.
From his point of view, nothing stands in the way of a successful Oktoberfest start.
