Yisrael Beitenu asked the election committee to disqualify the chairman of Balad: "existential danger"
The party appealed to the committee with a request to prevent Sami Abu Shahada from running in the upcoming elections.

This morning (Sunday), the representatives of the Yisrael Beitenu party appealed to the Central Election Committee with a request to disqualify Balad chairman, MK Sami Abu Shahada, from running in the upcoming Knesset elections. Balad will run as an independent list in the upcoming elections, after it split from the joint list at the last minute .
