Yoav Kish: I would not support Sa'ar if I knew how much he hates Netanyahu

The member of Knesset from the Likud claimed that the former members of the party - Michal Shir and Sharan Hashakal - are "activated" by Sa'ar, whom he supported when he ran against Netanyahu in the primaries.

MK Yoav Kish (Likud) said this morning (Sunday) that he would not have joined Gideon Sa'ar when he ran against party chairman Benjamin Netanyahu, if he had known how "hate blinds him".

He denied the claims of MK Sharan Hashakal, according to which he previously proposed to withdraw from Likud and form a new party. Hashakal called him an "opportunist and a rhinoceros" after he criticized MK Michal Shir's move to Yesh Atid ahead of the upcoming elections.

When asked if he did not participate in a meeting in Kfar Saba together with Sa'ar, Shir and Shekel after Sa'ar's loss in the primaries, he replied: "There was a meeting. I never supported or said 'I want to leave the Likud', it did not exist and was not created. There is a camp that was So, I see that part of it exists. I mean, this move by Gideon Sa'ar was coordinated. He took his two female soldiers, Michal Shir and Sharan Hashakal, who by the way put Michal Shir with Lapid, I don't know what Lapid got from Gideon.

According to him, "Gideon Sa'ar manages Sharan Haskhal and Michal Shir on a full scale. He put Michal Shir in 'Yesh Atid', Lapid let him put her there, I don't know what Lapid got from Gideon."

Without substantiating his words, Kish added: "There is a deal here, there is no doubt. I see that they are still in the same camp, they are still going after Gideon. In the Likud primaries, I supported Gideon, we lost to Netanyahu, I completely aligned myself with the public's choice of Netanyahu. According to him, "In retrospect, if I had known how much he hates Netanyahu and how much this hatred blinds him, even at the expense of the good of the State of Israel, I would not have joined this move, but I did not know that.
