Donald Trump had top secret documents stored in his own home, as was recently revealed.

Successor Biden is not amused.

Washington (AP) - US President Joe Biden once again had to comment on the behavior of his predecessor Donald Trump - and did so quite clearly on Sunday.

In a TV interview, he described the storage of various top-secret documents in the estate of his predecessor Donald Trump in the US state of Florida as “irresponsible”.

Biden said he wondered what information was contained in the documents that could compromise sources.

However, he emphasized that he did not know exactly what was in the confiscated documents.

USA: Biden does not want to get involved in discussions about Justice Department actions

"I didn't ask for the specifics of these documents because I don't want to get involved in the discussion about whether or not the Justice Department should take specific actions," Biden said.

In early August, the FBI searched Trump's Florida mansion.

The FBI confiscated various classified documents, some with the highest level of secrecy.

According to the law, this material should have been given to the National Archives.

USA: Trump may have broken law - Will Justice Department file charges?

Since Trump kept the records at his private estate after his term in office, he may have broken the law.

This is now being investigated.

The question is whether the Justice Department will press charges against the ex-president.

Trump repeatedly claims that the investigations are politically motivated and speaks of a witch hunt.

In between there were even suspicions that Trump might have flushed some documents down the toilet.
