Eching
- "Together we are stronger" - this is the motto of Eching's new Vhs director Daniela Kirschstein and her team.
The motto applies above all to the long-awaited merger of Vhs Eching with Allershausen.
The cooperation, which has been successful for many years, should result in an administrative unit by the end of the year.
In the course of this, a new layout for the first joint issue is planned for the beginning of 2023, parallel to the new website.
The library or heath area association are tried and tested partners
Kirschstein is also striving for increased networking at the local level and in exchange with municipal and regional institutions and associations.
For example, it can build on proven educational partners such as the library or the heathland association.
The library invites you to two free film and discussion evenings led by Gisela Duong (with registration).
The contribution "Roots of Survival" on November 10 (7.30 p.m.) with farmers Niko Walter and Josef Kurz is about the opportunities of alternative agriculture.
The documentary "Taste the Waste" on December 15 (7.30 p.m.) deals with the topic of "food waste".
Recently, there has also been a cooperation with a dance club
A new feature is the cooperation with the body2dance dance club for fitness dance, on Wednesdays from 7 to 8 p.m. in the gymnasium of the secondary school.
And with the “Balance Swing™” co-op offer from SCE and VHS in the gym next to the indoor tennis court, everything is new: the location, the fitness concept, and the medical trampoline mats.
SC Eching members can book the course (twelve times starting Tuesday 27 September) at a reduced fee.
A new format is the modular seminar series with the ASZ on the subject of "Understanding dementia". Other offers for older people include memory and stability training as well as special gymnastics.
For women, young people and families there are offers such as "Networking for women" or "Self-defence for teens from the age of 12" as well as a number of online guides for parents.
(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)
In addition to German, English, French, Italian and Spanish, Arabic, Chinese and Turkish have been added to the language portfolio exclusively as online offers.
