A man was apparently electrocuted by an electrical cable at the train station on Sderot Moshe Dayan in Rishon Lezion.
MDA medics and paramedics provide medical treatment to a 23-year-old man on the spot and performed advanced resuscitation operations that included 6 electric shocks from a defibrillator. When the pulse returned, they evacuated him to Wolfson Hospital in an intensive care unit while he was in serious condition and sedated.
Following the incident, train traffic from Tel Aviv to Rishon Lezion and south was stopped.
According to a preliminary investigation by the police, it is a guy who was doing parkour between the roofs in the area and got tangled in the train cable that was hanging and was electrocuted.
Shmuel Malka, a medic at Ihud Hatzla, said: "According to passers-by, he was electrocuted and lost consciousness. We performed prolonged resuscitation on him while giving him electric shocks from a defibrillator, and after he regained his pulse and breathing, he was taken to a hospital in serious condition."
