Subcommittees in several governorates released the results of their local administrative council elections.
The head of the Supreme Judicial Committee for Elections, Judge Counselor Jihad Murad, said in a statement to SANA that the sub-committees in each of the governorates of Damascus, Homs, Deir ez-Zor, Quneitra, Raqqa and Lattakia announced the results of the local administrative council elections there.
Murad indicated that the re-election took place in two centers in the governorates of Hama and Tartous, and it will take place tomorrow in Aleppo, Sweida and Rural Damascus as a result of an increase or decrease in the number of electoral envelopes by more than 2% of the number of voters registered in the electoral register, pointing out that tomorrow will be set as the date for the elections.
