On Saturday evening there was a strange situation in the medical station at the Wiesn: the victim of a fight only said "Layla".

It wasn't actually supposed to be played at the Wiesn - but just over an hour after it was tapped, the song rang out in the Schottenhamel.
A comedian must have taken care of that.
The song also seems to leave a lasting impression on the international Wiesn visitors – doesn't it?

Markus Strobl, spokesman for the Aich ambulance, which runs the medical station that is in continuous use on the fairgrounds, reports on a somewhat more curious incident on Saturday evening, September 17th.

that in the early evening a tourist who apparently did not speak German was in the medical station.
He was probably the victim of a fight: "His nose was bleeding, his face was a bit bloody," reports Strobl.
When he was admitted, the paramedics asked him, as is usual in such a case, what his name was, where he lived and who his contact person was in the event of an emergency.
But they received no information.
"Layla, Layla, Layla," the man stammered, according to Strobl, only slightly incomprehensible.
"He was heavily intoxicated," said the spokesman.

Of course, Strobl could not rule out that "Layla" was the partner or a friend of the stricken Wiesn visitor - and not the word of the controversial hit song, which was probably easy to pick up.
During the subsequent examination of the man, the paramedics also found that he was missing two teeth.
But they couldn't say whether it was a direct result of the fight - the patient wasn't anyway.
He only produced "Layla" and was supposed to recover overnight.
