The funeral of the queen, who died on September 8 at the age of 96, takes place this Monday at noon (French time) in London under the eyes of 2,000 guests.
But this ceremony is only part of the planned commemorations.

Some 500 leaders from around the world, including some controversial guests, will meet in Westminster Abbey on Monday for the high point of this state funeral.
For more than sixty years, these funerals have been prepared in the greatest secrecy.
The Queen has chosen prayers and songs up to the model hearse that will take her to Windsor on Monday.
On Sunday evening, King Charles III thanked in a press release “all these countless people” who showed their support.

Here are the main steps until the funeral:
7:30 a.m
.: The coffin viewing ends at Westminster Hall, which closes to the public, for its transfer to nearby Westminster Abbey, which opens at 8 a.m.
11:35 a.m
.: The coffin is carried from the catafalque, the platform where it rested, to the gun carriage which will wait outside the north door of Westminster Hall.
Then, at 11:44 a.m., the Royal Navy gun carriage sets off for a short procession to the Abbey.
11.52am:
The coffin arrives at the west door of Westminster Abbey, followed on foot by the Queen's eldest son and heir, King Charles III and other members of the Royal Family.
Noon:
start of the state funeral.
