Prince George and Princess Charlotte, great-grandchildren of Queen Elizabeth accompanied the arrival of the coffin of Elizabeth II, for the start of the funeral.

The 9-year-old prince, second in line to the throne, and the 7-year-old princess, dressed in dark, walked with their heads bowed past their parents William and Kate, behind King Charles III, and other members of the Royal family.
They had arrived there a few minutes earlier.

The protocol wanted the two children to walk in front of their uncle Harry and their aunt Meghan Markle.
Their little brother, Louis, four years old, however, did not participate in the ceremony, as he was considered too young to attend.
Images of the grimacing boy during the Queen's Jubilee last June had gone around the world.
Remember that according to the protocol order, George and William are now in second and third positions in the order of succession to King Charles III.
George and Charlotte, on the other hand, will be absent from the burial of Queen Elizabeth II, scheduled for the end of the day, at 8:30 p.m. French time at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle.
Elizabeth II will be buried with her husband, Prince Philip and her father, King George VI.
