The head of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo affirmed adherence to the path of accession of the Kherson region to Russia.
The Russian RIA Novosti news agency quoted Saldo as saying in a statement today: "The path of the Kherson region towards joining Russia remains stable and has not changed."
It is noteworthy that this is Saldo's first statement after returning from treatment, as he was urgently transferred to the hospital in early August and was treated in the Crimea and then at the Sklifosovsky Research Institute in Moscow, after the Russian Investigative Committee later stated that he was suspected of poisoning with chemical warfare agents.
