The Labor Party has replaced 12 leaders since its foundation.
The late Menachem Begin was the head of the Harut movement, later the Likud, and besides him three other people held the position. A total of four leaders against 12. Does this comparison mean anything?
In my opinion, yes.
The second Israel has been represented to this day by the Likud, Shas and the ultra-Orthodox parties. The representation of the first Israel was more diverse, and certainly more creative. I present to the reader a list of the names of parties and factions, each in turn challenging the Likud. Hold fast, die-live- to the sea:
Gesher, Derech Eretz, the third way, the new right, the Israelis, the democratic camp, the state camp, the Zionist camp, the formation, the center, labor, independence, the Zionist spirit, the movement, resilience for Israel, together, right, Yesh Atid, one Israel, democratic Israel , All of us, blue and white, Meretz, with one, forward, dawn, change, rut, new hope.
This is a partial list, and compiling it cost me a huge headache.

Now a fear begins to creep into my heart: maybe the representation of the first Israel suffers from instability?

The Knesset website offers interesting data regarding Knesset members, one of which is the accumulated days of office of our MKs for their generations. The picture of the situation is correct for today, and in the framework of it I examined six parties, three from the right and three from the left. Here are my findings:
A member of the Blue and White Knesset serves an average of 800 days (the figures are rounded for convenience), a modest but refreshing figure.
The generic MK from the Labor Party, who currently holds office for 1,020 days, exceeds both of them, MK Mish Atid, who holds an average of 1,500 days in office, a good number by all accounts.
The youngest right-wing party of those I examined is Shas, whose Knesset members serve 1,900 days - more than Mish Atid and twice as many as Blue and White. Coincidence? Maybe, but the following figure is not coincidental at all: a Likud MK serves an average of 4,100 days.
In other words, that MK gained almost three times the experience of his friend Mish Atid, and more than five times the experience of a Blue and White MK.
What about the Agudat Israel Torah flag?
No worries, the average ultra-orthodox MK holds a record of 4,380 days in office.
This is what instability looks like: without an idea and without a leader.
This is the loss of the way, and this is the face of the political hysteria that the left cannot get rid of.
While the majority of the Second Israel holds a cohesive opinion, loyal to the path, values and leadership, the left is in a never-ending game of musical chairs.
Its leaders do not talk about values, and instead of an ideological confrontation we are exposed to vague slogans composed by Paul the Octopus.
That stability, which is the strength of the second Israel, drives them out of their minds.
Like waves breaking against the rocks, head after head, a stupid slogan and another one, refuse to realize that this rock cannot be broken.
The consequences of this instability are dramatic.
Without the heavy coverage on behalf of the media and the general mobilization of the law enforcement system, the leaders of the left would not have been able to keep the bluff alive and would not have thought of playing Russian roulette with Israeli democracy.
